“I've been following Antoine and Dalia for a while now, and have always enjoyed their tutorials, so when I saw they had put together this course, I was interested, but initially was unsure what I would learn from it, since I have been into astrophotography for a little while now. Still, I decided to go ahead and it has proved to be very worthwhile! I learned quite a few new tricks, particularly on the subject of using Pixinsight, and found that I was able to go back to some of my old photos and dramatically improve them using the tips and tricks I picked up from this course. Looking forward to the future seasons!”

“Astrophotography is an intense hobby and it can be hard to know where to start or find the information and help needed throughout the learning process. I had always wished there was an all in one class or course to help lay it all out in the same way I have learned my other photography skills. When I saw this course announced I was super excited and signed up right away. It is very informative and well put together, covering everything a beginner would need to know. Highly recommend.”

“I have autism and found this course VERY helpful and educational! I found some videos on the internet about astrophotography are sometimes too hard for my auditory processing to fully understand, but this course is so beginner friendly, it is one of my go-to resources! I rely heavily on visual learning and the videos have helped me improve my post-processing and camera settings a LOT. For example, I am now shooting my pictures in the correct exposure on the histogram, and so far it has worked out far better than I expected and the post-processing videos are very simple and easy to follow-along. One of the course's best aspects is the layout. You can read and watch anything you want, when you want in no order. Other resources are set in a way where you have to watch them in a particular order, and I love the flexibility that this course has. Antione and Dalia definitely know what they are doing. I highly commend and thank both of them for creating this course. Their knowledge is invaluable and I cannot wait to see what the other seasons have in store! Zak Jones - NSW, Australia”

FAQ

  • How does support in the Galactic Course work?

We receive a lot of emails and messages on social media each day from people seeking help with astrophotography. We do our best to reply to everyone, but it is not always possible. We prioritize emails from both Galactic Course members and Patreon.

  • Do I need a telescope (or gear) to use the course?

Not necessarily. Some seasons focus on astrophotography with a telescope, but you don't need a telescope or gear right out the gate. Rushing into making a purchase is not what we intend to teach. We encourage following along before making an expensive purchase that might later be regretted.

  • Why does the Galactic Course have a yearly dues?

The Galactic Course is a growing library of astrophotography content. As such, it takes tremendous effort to curate lessons, as well as write, film, edit, and revise content to complete the end product. Yearly dues support the Galactic Course mentors' work in creating new lessons and guides. It is also the way that members maintain access to course materials each year. The cost of yearly dues also includes getting updates when new course materials drop. Exception: Members who signed up for the original All-In-One Galactic Course The only exception to yearly dues is for members who signed up before the new structure of the Galactic Course was implemented in May 2024. These members are automatically grandfathered into their memberships as originally advertised (lifetime membership with updates) and will continue to receive content updates without paying yearly renewal fees.

  • What happens if I don't pay my yearly dues?

No matter the bundle, members are subject to yearly dues in order to retain access to the Galactic Course. Otherwise, they will not be able to access the content. The cost of the bundle includes the first year's membership. After the first year is completed, a member is not obligated to pay their dues if they wish to stop learning with the Galactic Course. Non-active members can regain access by paying the yearly dues. You will not need to pay for the original cost of the bundle again.

  • What if I only want a specific course or want a specific guide?

You can purchase specific course lessons or processing guides separately. Only pay for the course materials you want to learn from. However, it may become more costly than a bundle so be sure to weigh your options. While there is no obligation to buy the Ultimate Bundle, the biggest benefit of investing is getting access to all course materials and processing guides, plus perks!
